The Harbor Bridge Project is taking place in Corpus Christi, Texas. This bridge, which upon completion will be the longest cable stay bridge in the United States, needed some large machinery to carry out this operation. RTL equipment rented A.H. Beck two Kobelco crawler cranes to assist with this massive project. So, how have things been going since October? 
RTL EQUIPMENT CRAWLER CRANES
When this project was announced, RTL Equipment was able to supply A.H. Beck with a Kobelco CK1600G lattice crawler crane and a Kobelco CK2750G crawler crane. These crawlers have been instrumental in the construction of the bridge and will be there for the entirety of the project. The picture to the right shows one of our crawlers helps with the assembly of shaft seven for the bridge.
As many of you may recall, Hurricane Harvey swept through southern Texas with devastating force backing in late August. Despite all of the damage and displacement that it caused for many of the locals, the construction of the bridge pressed on. As the project’s December report shows, they recently tore down a recreation center to make way for the new bridge construction.
