An All Terrain crane, from Boise Crane Company, was in place for a few hours to lift air handler units to the roof on the southwest corner of a hospital in Ontario, Oregon. That is where a section was framed in during an expansion in 2002, but left vacant for future use.
Once complete, another part of the hospital will be converted into six critical-care patient rooms, in phase two of the $11-million project. That phase is expected to be completed later in the summer.
