On January 4, 2017, Konecranes announced that its acquisition of Terex Material Handling & Port Solutions (MHPS) has been completed. From that day, Konecranes and MHPS, which includes Demag and Terex Port Solutions, will be one technology company building the next generation of lifting.
As a combined entity we will be able to offer a highly complementary set of products and strengthen our service business on a much wider global scale. Konecranes and MHPS have a rich history and a similar culture: engineering, knowledge in material handling, international business and a drive for technology leadership lie at the heart of both companies.
