Man in critical condition after falling 70 feet from Luffiing Jib Tower Crane in Hawaii

A young man was hospitalized Saturday after falling from a crane in Waikiki.

Emergency Medical Services says just after 3 p.m., the 23-year-old fell about 70 feet from a construction crane on Kuhio Avenue.  It is unclear if the man was a worker or if he was trespassing and climbed the Liebherr Luffing Jib crane owned by Morrow

Paramedics treated him at the scene and took him to the hospital in critical condition.
