New Zealand – A KiwiRail flatbed wagon carrying two coal containers derailed at the Dunedin Railway Station yesterday.
A KiwiRail spokesman said 14 KiwiRail staff and contractors from Titan Crane Hire used two cranes to right the wagon after it derailed about 8am.
The wagon was righted about 1pm, the spokesman said.
According to the Otago Times Daily, the cause of the derailment was unknown and an investigation was under way.
