Natrona, PA. – No injuries reported after a Sennebogen 835 Greenline Material Handler struck and pulled down a high voltage power line at a mill.
The accident happened when a truck hauling scrap lost part of its load. The material handler proceeded to the entrance of the mill and came in contact with the high voltage lines snapping in into two pieces. Part of the line fell to the ground while the other part became lodged on the front boom section of the material handler.
The operator remained inside the cab until West Penn Power arrived on the scene to remove the high voltage line.
