Yapi Merkezi signed another 3.2 million USD follow-up order with PALFINGER SANY International Mobile Cranes Sales GmbH. The ordered Mobile Cranes are not only in use at the big Ethiopian new railway project, but afterwards will be used on site at major construction projects in Turkey.
Yapi Merkezi Ranked 111 in ENR2015 won the tender for the Ethiopian railway project Awash-Weldia. Satisfied with the performance of PALFINGER SANY Cranes purchased in 2014 with an contract of USD 6.4Million, Yapi Merkezi signed another 3.2 million USD follow-up order with PALFINGER SANY Mobile Cranes. s.
Another very important criterion for Yapi Merkezi for signing the 3.2 million USD deal with PALFINGER SANY was the CE-certification of the Mobile Cranes for the European market. After finishing the big railway construction project in Ethiopia the Mobile Cranes will be used at big construction sites in Turkey and therefore the Mobile Cranes have to meet all European standards.
Yapi Merkezi ordered PALFINGER SANY Truck Cranes, specifically two flexible All Terrain Crane models SAC1800. All Terrain Cranes are designed for combined road and off-road applications enable to increase in mobility. The multipurpose hydraulic cranes are engineered to handle a broad variety of loading and lifting operations.
