SHELBY COUNTY, Ind. – Seven men were arrested after authorities say over $800,000 worth of stolen equipment was recovered in Shelby County.

The stolen equipment includes nine skid-steer loaders, two backhoes, a mini excavator, multiple all-terrain vehicles, a compact tractor with implements, a large construction excavator and multiple trailers.

Authorities say the stolen items were brought to Shelby County from Hancock, Hendricks, Hamilton, Marion, Johnson, Monroe and Rush counties from 2008 to 2015.

Shelby County Sheriff Department have been working to the recover the stolen equipment from late 2014 to the summer of 2015, with the help of other agencies.

As a result of the investigation, the following subjects have been arrested:

  • Tracey Shaw, 52, charged with corrupt business influence, receiving stolen property and theft
  • Kevin Croucher, 40, charged with corrupt business influence, receiving stolen property and theft
  • Andrew Harker, 41, charged with corrupt business influence, receiving stolen property and theft
  • Anthony L. Harker, 46, charged with theft
  • Jamey Pierce, 49, charged with theft
  • Richard Mumaw, 51, charged with theft
  • Aaron Christy, 32, charged with corrupt business influence and theft
