In Baravia, Germany Thomas Holzl used a Liebherr LTM 1200-5.1 to set an 8,42-meter long and 7,50-meter wide railway bridge. The crane operator Hubert Ertl carefully lowered the load and said this about his job,
“You have to make sure that the ground fits,” he says. “It was good that the rain had stopped the day before. I’m not doing it for the first time,” he grins. “This is nothing special for me.”
Crews have to work quickly to finish the project and work night shifts so the trains can restart.
