STEEL beams are being put in today as the replacement project at Eastham Bridge nears completion in the UK.
Steel beams, measuring 33 meters were lowered into position with a 500-ton All Terrain supplied by King Lifting.
Councillor Marcus Hart, cabinet member with responsibility for highways said: “” I am delighted that despite the weather from the last few days we were able to get the steel beams lifted into place.
The overall length of the bridge will be 33 meters, weigh 84-ton and will span the River Teme.
