A tower crane at a construction site near Piyavate Hospital in Bangkok collapsed on Tuesday, killing five workers.
The Bangkok Emergency Medical Service Erawan Centre reported the collapse of the tower crane at the site in Huai Khwang district occurred around 4pm.
At least four workers died at the scene and two others were injured, all of them men. One of the injured later died. All were working on the ground and could not escape the falling crane.
Police from the Makkasan police station and forensic officers are at the scene for investigations.
