Pfeifer construction has won the contract to build a new restaurant with a panoramic terrace for Obereggen Ski Resort. The new building is situated at 2,096 meters (6,876 feet) above sea level. A construction site at this level is always tricky due to the mountainous terrain and pop up storms. Italian Firm Niederstaetter supplied a Liebherr 65 K fast erecting tower crane for this project.
“For this reason,” says owner Richard Pfeifer, “the new fast-erecting crane Liebherr 65 K is on the site for use. This crane is faster, more reliable and more accurate than any other on the market. The new crane offers more consumes less power and holds its value. The investment pays off.”
The sustainable building will be inconspicuous and blend into the stunning landscape. The design competition was by won two young architects with a sophisticated design from Pfeiferbau.
